Courtney D. Durham, Esq., a licensed attorney for twenty years, has practiced law for more than twelve of those years in the central and southeastern areas of Florida as an accomplished civil litigator representing private clients and as a passionate advocate representing the State of Florida as Assistant Regional Counsel and Guardian ad Litem Program Attorney. Ms. Durham has litigated in circuit and county courts throughout Florida, including Citrus, Hillsborough, Marion, Polk, Sumter, Lake, Pasco, Levy, St. Lucie, and Hernando Counties, as well as before the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida. Ms. Durham’s successful outcomes for her clients result from providing consistent communication, timely responses, straightforward explanations, and professional competence. Ms. Durham’s daughter graduated from Citrus High School and College of Central Florida and currently lives in Colorado. Ms. Durham’s areas of practice include bankruptcy - Chapters 7 and 13, construction, probate, wills & estate planning, wrongful discharge, and deceptive trade practices. Ms. Durham is dedicated to serving the members of Citrus County with competent and professional legal representation.
Ms. Durham attended Emory University and University of Texas, followed by receiving her Juris Doctorate from Southern Methodist University School of Law.
Ms. Durham has been active with the Florida Bar having served on its Consumer Law Protection and Florida Bar Journal Editorial Committees. Ms. Durham served for two years as the President of the Hernando & Citrus County chapter of the Florida Association of Women Lawyers.
